Hello All! Sorry I have not posted much in my blog for a while. Things have been so busy that I haven’t had time set aside to keep up with it. Things are going great though and staying very busy, including a big campaign for Norwalk Furniture. I will try and keep up with the blog so you can follow the things we are doing! For now I have to get ready for a shoot tonight for Savannah Magazine, have a great evening and weekend!

Busy Fall

Things are shaping up to be a busy fall! Not only work with Richard Leo Johnson of Atlantic Archives but Round 1 Productions is already booking up fast! We took some time off in August to travel a little, but now we are back and ready to work! These past few days have been crazy, I have shot 3 days in a row for Savannah Magazine. Last night was the infamous Fashion Night Out in downtown Savannah, and I covered the event for Savannah Magazine. It turned out to be a lot of fun, but who is going to be upset to photograph awesome live bands and fashion shows? Have a great weekend everyone,

Elegant Homes New Issue

Today Richard & I were here in Savannah shooting & heard from a client that the new Elegant Homes Magazine has just been released. We were both really excited because we had been waiting to see what made it into the issue. Turns out we had four of our spreads printed in this issue! All the photographs look wonderful. Book Cover with Rebecca Lysen

I am very excited! Why you ask? Well as most of you know I am doing a Book Trailer for Tobias McGriff’s new book “Savannah Shadows.” Well Tobias is pulling out all the stops for this book & that includes having an amazing publicist & a famous graphic designer for the book cover. Her name is Rebecca Lysen. If you haven’t not heard of Rebecca by name you most certainly have seen her work. She is the one who did the cover design for the book “Wicked”, has designed a TON of book covers for Barnes & Noble, & is currently redesigning the label for Jameson Irish Whisky, just to name a few. So needless to say I knew the cover for Savannah Shadows would be nothing short of incredible. Tobias asked me if I would be up for photographing the cover, so of course I jumped at the opportunity. There was an extremely short window to get the photograph in the hands of Rebecca, so we produced them an image in less than 24 hours. I also found out that I got the honor to be the first photographer Rebecca has collaborated with for a cover design, as she normally deigns it from the ground up. I just received the final book cover design where the front & back cover are my photographs taken specifically for this project. It doesn’t stop there, Rebecca is also designing the interior layout of the book, and yours truly is having around 15-20 full page photographs throughout. So yeah, thats why I’m excited!

Book Trailer Update

Last night we all went out to shoot for Tobias McGriff’s Book Trailer for his book “Savannah Shadows”. We started around Midnight & carried on into the early morning. We were able to get some unbelievable footage, & I can’t wait to show all of you!

Travel Channel

Today the Travel Channel came into town to film a new series with the always awesome Adam Richman. I was in charge of the set photography, and the entire crew were really great. I want to say a big thanks to the Travel Channel crew and of course Adam Richman for being such a pleasure to work with!

Book Trailer Day One

Today was the first day that we shot for Tobias McGriff’s book trailer, and it went amazingly well! We shot at a small African Village where they were celebrating the life of their late King. Day 2 is coming up, more coming soon!!

We have so many great things lined up, and they are going to be a blast to work on! Tonight we are shooting a promo photo shoot for the band “Jacob & the Good People” who are out of Atlanta GA. Sunday, is day one of several here in Savannah for the book trailer for a person who we are always excited to work with, Tobias McGriff. Tobias owns Blue Orb Ghost Tours here in town, he has his own radio show, and on top of that he is writing a book that will be released this year! We are going all out and making him an amazing trailer to promote his well deserved book, so keep your eyes pealed for that! We have more coming up than just those, and we will post information as they get closer!

Charleston for a few days

We just arrived in Charleston SC for a few days to shoot some architectural photographs that should be published in July or August 2012 issue of Elegant Homes Magazine. Today was the first day and it went great, and the home was extremely beautiful.

Just last night we had a great meeting with a local author/ mastermind named Tobias McGriff, who has a true entrepreneur-mind. He really thinks outside the box & we are proud to announce that we are doing a book trailer for his book that he is releasing this year. We start filming early February 2012, & it is going to be a blast to work on. More updates on this project coming soon!
